the Houston rodeo is going on in h-town this week! we went with our booster friends that we love so much. the trip was complete with corndogs, Texas taters, cinnamon rolls, bull riding, mutton bustin' (kids riding sheep), and a rodeo, of course.

23 weeks

here i am at 23 weeks:

and for all of you who are dying to see my bare belly nakedness...

we went to the doctor last week and got an ultrasound. gosh, i love those. our little guy is doing great. he is weighing in at 1pound, 9 oz. our original due date is june 28th but almost every ultrasound we've had is aiming at june 18th. 

according to this week's app (is that with one or two ps?), my uterus is the size of a soccer ball! woah. 

i am really loving being pregnant. it definitely has its weirdness, but overall, it's so amazing how a little person that i love is growing inside of me.

21 weeks.

hi friends. 

here i am at 21 weeks. my belly seems like it gets bigger by the day! it's really fun because i can feel him move so much. david can now feel him move when he touches my belly. 

baby boy weighs about a pound and is the size of a spaghetti squash, according to my pregnancy apps. 

again, very high quality photos are happening here. 

we're working on the baby's room and will start posting photos when it looks more like a room suitable for a child.

BOY!

we're so excited about having a baby boy! we have thought that it was a boy throughout the pregnancy until this week. but, low and behold, we have a big boy on our hands (or womb, whatev). 

we went to the doctor today and he is looking good. he is measuring big but they won't change our due date. so, i'm between 18 to 20 weeks...who knows. 

sorry about the glare in the pictures. we're obviously not photographers and need a better camera (wink*).

hello blog friends. 

i have really been MIA recently. so sorry. we have undergone some big changes here in the brannen home. 

we're settling into houston. it's been an adventure, for sure. 

our sweet sully boy is growing and getting big.

and oh yeah, we're having a BABY! i cannot even express how excited we are about this last news. 

this is our little bundle around 11 weeks.

we had another ultrasound about a week ago. a couple of weeks makes a big difference in baby development! i'll post those pictures soon.

i definitely have a bump. i packed up old jeans and other things i won't see until next winter. 

so, that's our update. i'm going to be better about the blog thing. promise.
